How it works

From consent to confirmed report in six steps

Employment Verification on VerifyAll is a tracked workflow — you add the employers, the candidate consents, HR confirms each field, and the responses merge into a report.

  1. Step 1

    Log in to VerifyAll

A business signs in to its VerifyAll dashboard.

  2. Step 2

    Create an employment verification request

Add the candidate and the previous employers to confirm.

  3. Step 3

    Candidate gives consent

The candidate approves each employer check through a secure link. Consent is recorded and timestamped.

  4. Step 4

    HR confirms at source

The previous employer’s HR answers field by field — role, tenure, salary, conduct — through a one-time link. No account, no phone tag.

  5. Step 5

    Responses merge into the report

Confirmed data flows into the report, with discrepancies flagged claim-by-claim.

  6. Step 6

    Consolidated report

Download the employment verification report, or fold it into a full background check.

Understanding employment verification

What is employment verification?

Employment verification is the process of confirming a person’s work history — the employers, roles, tenure and compensation they have declared — directly with the previous employer’s HR, rather than trusting a CV or a reference letter.

On VerifyAll the candidate consents, the previous employer’s HR confirms each field through a one-time link, and the responses merge into a report with any mismatch flagged. It runs on its own or as part of a full background check.

Why businesses do it

To catch inflated titles, overlapping or fabricated tenure and salary claims before a hiring decision.

What it confirms

Employer name, designation, employment dates, compensation, reason for leaving, conduct and rehire eligibility — as recorded by the employer.

How consent works

The candidate approves each employer check through a secure link. Consent is recorded and timestamped.

What you get

A per-employer response with claimed-vs-confirmed values, discrepancy flags and a downloadable report.

The difference

Confirmed at the source, claim by claim

Most providers chase HR teams over email for weeks and take whatever comes back. VerifyAll turns it into a one-time structured form: HR confirms each field, and the report puts what the candidate declared next to what the employer recorded — with every difference flagged.

  • Role, tenure, salary and conduct — each confirmed separately.
  • A discrepancy on one field does not block the others.
  • HR comments are captured alongside the values.

The checks

Every employment check, in one place

Confirm work history directly with HR, cross-check it against records, and add screening — the result is one consolidated report.
